On the 15th, Yumiko Hotta, the Representative Director of the joshi puroresu promotion T-HEARTS, announced that roster member Miku Kanae will be sidelined for the foreseeable future to undergo surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her knee. While her exact return date is undetermined, she is expected to be out of action for over six months.

Hotta released the following statement: “Being unable to stand in the ring is an incredibly frustrating and painful decision for her, but she will absolutely not let this time go to waste. She intends to focus entirely on her treatment and physical conditioning, and she is determined to return to the ring to show everyone her fighting spirit once again. We apologize for causing concern during this time, but we would be truly grateful if you could continue to offer her your warm support. We kindly ask for your continued cheers for Miku Kanae.”

It was previously announced on the 11th that Kanae would be missing events for a while due to a leg injury.
