1. Ayaka Debut Match (30-minute time limit) ◯Chi Chi (11:22, Kata-ebi gatame) Ayaka● *Back spin kick

Ayaka (162cm, 56kg) makes her debut against her requested opponent, EVO first-generation member Chi Chi. Chi Chi starts off by pushing her into the ropes with a lock-up. After a wrist lock exchange, Chi Chi takes her down in a headlock. Ayaka slips out and tackles her head-on. She repeatedly crashes into her before delivering a dropkick.

However, Chi Chi slams her with a body slam, followed by consecutive hair whips, and stomps her in the corner. She hits a flurry of running front kicks in the corner and goes for a one-legged cover. She drops a leg drop. Ayaka gets up and throws elbows. She fires off a barrage, but Chi Chi mows her down with a single strike and locks in a Boston Crab. She transitions into a single-leg Boston Crab and wrenches it, but Ayaka somehow reaches the ropes.

Ayaka returns a running knee in the corner and fires off kicks, but Chi Chi catches her kicking leg and lands an elbow. Despite this, Ayaka hits a jumping knee. They trade elbows back and forth. Chi Chi lands a front kick, and Ayaka returns the favor. Chi Chi runs the ropes and hits a front kick. Not backing down, Ayaka hits a brainbuster. She nails a missile dropkick from the second rope and applies a sleeper hold.

Even when Chi Chi escapes, Ayaka jumps on her and chokes her again. Chi Chi escapes to the ropes, and Ayaka pummels her with elbows. However, Chi Chi fires back with a superkick. She kicks the blasted Ayaka in the face, then follows up with a missile dropkick. Ayaka kicks out of the cover, but Chi Chi nails her with a back spin kick for the win.

Backstage

Chi Chi: “I’m grateful to Suwama-san and Shuji Ishikawa-san for allowing me to serve as a debut opponent for the first time here in Evolution, my precious old home. Thank you. Ayaka came in through the rookie auditions, and even back then, she mentioned my name as a wrestler she admired. With Ayaka nominating me for her debut match, it allowed me to step into the ring of my old home once again. I felt she didn’t have much stamina, and her middle kicks still need work, but her gaze and intensity were really good. As for her audacity, she’s probably right behind me. From now on, there will be more tough times than good ones, but I hope she listens to Chika, Soy-kun, Ishikawa-san, and Suwama-san, and grows up well. If they ever invite me back, I’ll be happy to face her anytime, so please keep me in mind.”

Ayaka: “Thank you for letting me debut. Honestly, during the match, her strikes were stronger than I imagined, and my mind just went blank. I couldn’t throw my elbows nearly as much as I thought I would either. I have a lot to reflect on, but during the match, the faces of everyone who helped me get here came to mind, and I was overwhelmed with gratitude. That’s why I feel more like blaming myself for not being able to fight harder, but I want to carry that feeling with me as I challenge my future matches. Thank you very much. (Regarding Chi Chi) I guess it’s the wall between a junior and a senior; the period I practiced with Chi Chi-san was short, so I didn’t fully understand how strong she was. But it definitely sparked a strong desire in me to surpass that strength someday. Right now, I’m just full of gratitude.”

2. 30-minute time limit ◯Yuuka (9:08, Schoolgirl) Hikari Shisui●

Hikari Shisui hits a vigorous dropkick. Yuuka answers with an elbow and yells, “Bring it on!” Yuuka lands a flurry of strikes, and Shisui fires back, but Yuuka hits a sliding elbow. Shisui strings together several roll-ups. She presses the attack with three consecutive dropkicks, then lands a missile dropkick from the second rope.

However, Yuuka catches her arm, throws an elbow, and hits a dropkick. She goes for a diving body attack, but Shisui dodges and hits one of her own. Shisui nails a brainbuster, but Yuuka answers with a counter elbow followed by a body press. Shisui hangs tough and goes for a reverse roll-up, but Yuuka reverses the pin. She then rolls her up with a schoolgirl for the 3-count.

3. 30-minute time limit Yuka Satsuki & ◯Echika Miyabi (13:47, Kata-ebi gatame) Soy● & Chika *Swanton Bomb

Soy and Yuka Satsuki battle it out with headlocks. Soy hits a tackle and a pancake press. Chika follows with a rolling senton, and the two stomp on Satsuki. As Echika pulls Chika’s leg from outside the ring, Satsuki hits a “dosukoi” tackle. Echika tags in and goes on the offensive against Soy.

Satsuki grabs Soy by the back of her hair and whips her. After a Satsuki Roller, Echika joins in, and they both yell, “Dosukoi!” Satsuki applies a camel clutch while holding onto Soy’s hair. She follows up with a Boston Crab. Soy reaches the ropes and fires back with an elbow, but Satsuki hits a dropkick. Soy returns with a double chop.

Chika barrels in and sends Satsuki flying, then tries to hoist her up. She can’t get her up, but Chika continues the assault. Satsuki dodges a senton and hits a dropkick. Echika follows up with a missile dropkick and a tackle. She throws a kick at a defiant Chika, but Chika doesn’t even budge. Undeterred, Echika goes for a sunset flip.

Chika kicks out and hits a sweeping hip throw. Soy fires off a flurry of chops. After a tackle, she hits a pancake press. She locks in a single-leg Boston Crab, but Echika makes it to the ropes. She kicks Soy head-on and hits a running front kick in the corner. She aims for a chokeslam, but Soy blocks it. Satsuki immediately hits a double chop, and the two execute a double tackle.

However, Echika’s chop accidentally hits Satsuki. Soy and Chika hit a sandwich splash. Chika puts Soy on her back for a press. Soy hits a lariat but only gets a two-count. Echika catches Soy’s spear and lands a kick. She mows her down with a chop and finishes the match with a Swanton Bomb.

4. 15-minute time limit Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa & Kengo Mashimo (Time Limit Draw) Towa Iwasaki & Ryunosuke Nagai & Hyo Ogawa

Ryunosuke Nagai and Hyo Ogawa make a flashy, glitzy entrance in matching costumes, bursting with youth. They strike poses toward Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa. The crowd chants “Regent” at the opening bell. Nagai repeatedly tackles Ishikawa, eventually knocking him down with a shoulder tackle. Kengo Mashimo and Towa Iwasaki engage in an evenly matched exchange. Nagai locks a headlock on Suwama. Suwama slips out and tackles him. Ogawa and Nagai grab his arm and pose together, but Suwama scatters them, sending the fight to the outside.

Suwama relentlessly beats Nagai with a steel chair. Back in the ring, he unleashes a fierce double chop. Mashimo catches Nagai. Ishikawa adds an elbow. Nagai hits back, but Ishikawa knocks him down with a flurry of strikes. Next, Suwama hits a running lariat in the corner and throws him with a front suplex. Nagai counterattacks with a dropkick. He finally tags Iwasaki, who lands a running lariat in the corner and a brainbuster.

However, Suwama hits a lariat from point-blank range. Mashimo throws a kick, but Iwasaki hits a dragon screw. Ogawa hits consecutive shoulder tackles, followed by a backdrop and a falling headbutt. Mashimo hits a DDT, and Ogawa nails a lariat. Nagai hits Ishikawa with a dropkick, a running lariat in the corner, and a body press. The trio unleashes a continuous barrage of attacks, with Nagai and Ogawa chaining their offense.

However, Ishikawa answers with a running knee lift and aims for the Fire Thunder. Nagai dodges it and hits a backdrop, but takes a brainbuster in return just as the time limit bell rings. Grabbing a mic, Nagai says, “Hey, Ishikawa! I was winning just now, right? If we had three more minutes, I would’ve won! Let’s settle this with three more minutes!” Ishikawa responds, “Bring it on!” leading to an overtime match.

Ogawa swings Mashimo around with a hammer throw and nails a lariat. He follows up with a lariat over the top rope. Mashimo chases him to the corner, looking for an avalanche-style move. Nagai cuts this off, and Ogawa hits a lariat. The overtime match also ends in a time limit draw, but…

Ogawa says, “Mashimo-san! If we had one more minute, we would have won! Please let us do one more minute!” Mashimo replies, “One minute is impossible.” But Ogawa persists, so Mashimo says, “Alright, I’ll give you one minute.” The bell for another overtime rings. Ogawa hits a brainbuster and goes for the cover, but Ishikawa breaks it up with a knee. Nagai and Ogawa hit a double cross chop, but Mashimo hits a leg lariat. The one minute passes in the blink of an eye.

Ogawa takes the mic again, “As you saw, I couldn’t win in one minute, but I was wrong. If it were a singles match, I could win. Mashimo-san, please let me beat you in a singles match in the Evolution ring.” To this, Mashimo replies, “OK, I guess I could do that. Next time, one minute, 10 minutes, no time limit? I’ll do whatever time you want.”

5. Evolution Strong Women’s Championship Match (60-minute time limit) ◯Ayame Sasamura (16:56, Ebi gatame) Miya Yotsuba● *The 4th Champion successfully defends the title for the 4th time.

Miya Yotsuba declared her challenge to Ayame Sasamura, who turned away Soy’s challenge at Shinkiba on September 15th. In response to her ChocoPro tag partner’s loss, she set out to capture the belt, saying, “I’m the most frustrated one,” seeking revenge. Sasamura described her impression of Miya as “someone who seems a bit dangerous.” She stands at the center of EVO as the most formidable champion yet.

Miya refuses Sasamura’s handshake and shakes hands with her second, Soy, instead. Sasamura takes the initiative on the ground by locking up her legs. When Miya mounts her, Sasamura switches to a front neck lock. Miya breaks free and tackles her. Miya returns a tackle, knocks her down, and hits a body slam. She pins her against the ropes and delivers a dropkick to her back.

She runs around the venue to hit the apron-bound Sasamura with a hammer blow, but the champion dodges and hits a missile dropkick. She follows up with a foot stomp, hangs her upside down in the corner, and kicks her in the midsection. She chokes her with a neck lock. She then slams her with a body slam, but Miya gets up and throws an elbow. Sasamura answers with a flurry of her own, hits a body slam, and another foot stomp. She locks in a single-leg Boston Crab.

Miya frantically reaches for the ropes, catches a charging Sasamura, and hits a backbreaker. She lands a running elbow in the corner followed by a dropkick, then locks in a Texas Cloverleaf, but Sasamura reaches the ropes. The fight spills to the outside. Miya smashes Sasamura into the steel post and hits her with an elbow smash in the audience seats.

Back in the ring, she hits a backbreaker. Sasamura refuses to back down, answering with a foot stomp. She hits a dropkick and a Hurricane Driver. She aims for a diving foot stomp, but Miya throws her down. Sasamura hits an elbow from behind. A Blockbuster Hold gets a two-count. She tries again for the diving foot stomp, but Miya dodges and rolls her up. She wrenches her in a Texas Cloverleaf.

Sasamura escapes to the ropes, and an avalanche hold gets a two-count. Sasamura dodges a Miya Hammer and hits a Kamigoye-style front kick, followed by a low-altitude DDT. She headbutts Miya, who is clinging to her leg, and this time successfully lands the diving foot stomp to defend her belt.

“When you defeat a dangerous woman, the next one is also a dangerous woman.” Challenger Echika: “I’ll absolutely beat you up.” Sasamura, now the strongest EVO champion: “I’m a dangerous woman who won’t lose to anyone.”

Sasamura: “Wow, Miya Yotsuba, you’re pretty good. I was wondering if you’d be a fulfilling meal, but I’m completely stuffed. Thank you so much for challenging me. But I have bad fuel efficiency and get hungry quickly, so I’ll be waiting anytime. You don’t have to wait until you think you can win. Let’s do it anytime. I’ve successfully defended my title for the 4th time! Ever since I won the Evolution singles title, only dangerous people have challenged me.” (Echika enters the ring). “A dangerous woman has arrived. You want to challenge? I don’t just let anyone challenge for this belt. I want someone who won’t lose to anyone, who has something they can’t surrender to anyone. Ecchan, do you have something like that?”

Echika: “Chops! I won’t lose to anyone. I definitely intend to win it, and I said chops, but it’s not just chops. Seeing you brawl outside the ring… I’m good at outside brawls. And I’m good at flying. Watching today’s match got me really excited, so I’m absolutely going to beat you up.”

Sasamura: (Grabbing Echika’s hair) “If you underestimate me too much, I’ll beat you up. Another dangerous woman has challenged me. But since I consider myself a dangerous woman who won’t lose to anyone, I’m going to keep defending the Evolution belt! The next Evolution event is at Amista on Friday. Is everyone going to come to Amista!? That’s not many of you! Come on! It’s at Kawasaki Station. Next Friday, there’s another event. You’ll come, right!? Thank you. So, was Evolution fun today too!? Do you love pro wrestling!? We will continue to fight our hardest in the ring. You guys work hard and make sure you come watch pro wrestling! So, thank you very much for coming to today’s Evolution Shinkiba event! With new friends joining and a cool champion, please come visit Evolution again. Let’s go! Ready! One, two, Sasamuuu!”

Backstage Sasamura: “I successfully defended my title for the 4th time! It’s a great honor to face a wrestler named Miya Yotsuba one-on-one in a title match. She’s so amazing that I’m ashamed I didn’t know her. I thought, ChocoPro is scary. There were a lot of seconds out there today too, so I hope I can take my time and face them one by one. And next, Ecchan. Echika Miyabi announced her challenge. I know Ecchan is dangerous. But I think I’ve become a dangerous woman who won’t lose to that, so I want to properly defend the title match again. Thank you very much.”

Miya: “Dammit. You said I could challenge anytime, so let me challenge next month. What about next month? Has next month already been decided? What does that mean, that’s not what we talked about! No, please put me in Evolution next month! Put me in! In Evolution! I will definitely get my revenge on Ayame Sasamura. But there’s something I wanted to say most today. Can I say it? Here I go. One, two, three, Yotsuba! I’ll definitely say it next time!”

Translation Notes:

  • Ebi gatame / Kata-ebi gatame vs. Gyaku-ebi gatame: In the translation, terms like Ebi gatame (shrimp hold) and Kata-ebi gatame (half-shrimp hold) typically refer to standard pinfalls (a folding press or one-legged pin, respectively). Alternatively, Gyaku-ebi gatame (reverse shrimp hold) refers to a Boston Crab submission.
  • “Dosukoi!” (どすこい): A traditional vocalization used by sumo wrestlers to express physical effort or power. Satsuki and Echika yell this as a battle cry to hype up their heavy power moves.
  • Regent (リーゼント) and “Gingiragin” (ギンギラギン): A “Regent” is a pompadour hairstyle famously associated with the Japanese yankī (delinquent) subculture. Paired with their “gingiragin” (glitzy/flashy) matching outfits, Nagai and Ogawa’s entrance leans into a high-energy, retro bad-boy aesthetic.
  • Kamigoye-style Front Kick: A reference to Kota Ibushi’s iconic finishing strike, the Kamigoye. A “Kamigoye-style” attack means grasping both of a kneeling opponent’s wrists to trap their arms before delivering the strike—in this case, Sasamura hits a front kick instead of a knee.
  • Amista (アミスタ): A shorthand reference to Post di Amistad, a specialized event venue in Kawasaki frequently used for joshi puroresu shows, most notably by World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana.
  • “Ichi, Ni, No, Sasamuu!”: Ayame Sasamura’s playful variation of Antonio Inoki’s legendary “Ichi, ni, san, daa!” (1, 2, 3, Go!) catchphrase, replacing “three” with her own nickname, Sasamuu.
  • “Ichi, Ni, San, Yotsuba!”: Miya Yotsuba attempts her own play on the exact same catchphrase. Because “Yotsuba” translates to “four leaves” (as in a four-leaf clover), shouting “one, two, three, four-tsuba!” acts as a numerical pun based on her ring name.
