Before the matches, the 5★STAR GP 2026 award ceremony took place. The award winners and highlighted matches are as follows:

1. 20-Minute Time Limit ○ Rina & Ruaka (9m 17s, Pinfall) Natsupoi & Anne Kanaya ● ※ via Pink♥Devil

Kanaya went right after Rina, but a completely relaxed Rina simply dropped a diving double knee drop. Kanaya dodged a top-rope attack, allowing Natsupoi to connect with a thrust kick. Kanaya then launched into rapid-fire roll-ups. Rina tried to counter with a Jackknife Hold, but Kanaya reversed it into another roll-up for a 2.9 count. The crowd popped huge for the near-fall, but Rina immediately transitioned into the Pink♥Devil to secure the victory.

2. 20-Minute Time Limit Maki Itoh, ○ Kikyo Furusawa & Rian (14m 43s, Leg-Lock Style Ankle Hold) Saya Iida, Matoi Hamabe ● & Utami Hayashishita

Rian, making her return after missing the 8/23 Ryogoku show, found herself on the defensive early on. Despite the disadvantage, she managed to catch the tagged-in Iida with a drop toe hold, draped her across the ropes, and attacked from behind. The newly tagged Itoh briskly went on the offensive. Iida nearly countered Itoh’s “World’s Cutest Knuckle” into a powerbomb, but Rian and Furusawa forced her back into the corner so Itoh could properly land the punch. However, Iida muscled her way through with a brainbuster. Itoh responded by kicking the tagged-in Hayashishita and planting her with a DDT.

Furusawa tagged in and battered Hayashishita with rapid-fire dropkicks, eventually knocking her down with a stiff uppercut. Hayashishita answered with a brutal elbow and a backflip drop.

Hamabe tagged in and went for a bodyslam, but Furusawa blocked it, hit a dropkick to the leg, and locked in an ankle lock. She then draped Hamabe’s leg over the ropes and hit another dropkick. Following an elbow exchange, Furusawa connected with a dropkick into an ankle hold. Hayashishita and Iida rushed in for the assist, allowing Hamabe to hit a sunset flip. She transitioned into a cross armbreaker, hit a judo throw, and went for the armbreaker again, but Itoh and Rian broke it up. Hamabe lifted Furusawa as Iida and Hayashishita set up for a double-team move, but the Itoh Respect Army thwarted the attempt, hitting a triple-team Stunner on STARS and Hayashishita. Furusawa then locked in a leg-lock style ankle hold to force the tapout.

▼ Backstage Iida: “Are your legs okay? This was Stardom’s first show back from summer break, and STARS starts off with a loss. Well, it’s not like we’ve been slacking off, but the Itoh Respect Army had an event recently. They banded together, and it feels like they’re on a completely different level of strength now. We definitely got overpowered today. STARS still has a lot more work to do moving forward.”

Hamabe: “I ended up losing today. It’s been a while since I faced Kikyo, but the move she caught me with today was the exact same one she beat me with during our 5★STAR singles match. It’s so, so frustrating. But if she’s going to target the legs, I’m going to make it my mission to destroy arms.”

Iida: “Utami-san, when are you going to join us?”

Hayashishita: “Join STARS? You’re so direct about it. Still, I’m very happy you said that. Teaming up with Iida today, and with Matoi-chan who also has a judo background… it really struck a chord with me. But, I don’t fully understand STARS just yet, so jumping in right now feels a bit premature. Plus, I might find something even more appealing elsewhere. So, I’m sorry. Please give me an extension. Let me think about it.”

Iida: “That’s fine (laughs). Thank you very much.”

(Itoh takes out her phone and starts recording a TikTok.) Itoh: “Done.” Furusawa: “Is that today’s quota?” Rian: “I need to film one too.” Itoh: “…Uploaded. Sorry, we’re TikTokers now.” Furusawa: “We have to hit 1 million total views. We have to batch-shoot our TikToks today, so we’re a bit busy.” Itoh: “We’re TikTokers, so we’re leaving.”

3. 3-WAY Battle (15-Minute Time Limit) ○ Aya Sakura (6m 14s, Pinfall) Fukigen Death ● ※ The other participant was Hina; winning move: New Sakura-tchi

As all three women brawled in the ring, Fukigen aimed a senton at Hina but accidentally hit Sakura. Fukigen then attempted to roll up Sakura while she was attacking Hina on the top rope, but Sakura reversed the momentum, trapping Fukigen in a roll-up of her own to snatch the victory.

Goddesses League & COSMIC ANGELS Event Announced The 16th Goddesses League was announced on the arena screen. Opening night is set for 11/1 at Korakuen Hall, with the finals taking place on 11/29 in Hamamatsu. Additionally, a COSMIC ANGELS event was announced for Saturday, November 7th at Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand, where all Kozuen members will reportedly appear in cute maid outfits.

4. 20-Minute Time Limit Rina Yamashita & ○ Itsuki Aoki (10m 17s, Pinfall) Syuri & Kiyoka Kotatsu ● ※ via Rasha Basami

This marked Syuri’s first match back from her overseas excursion. Yamashita and Syuri immediately fired up the crowd with a fierce exchange. Aoki and Kotatsu tagged in. Kotatsu blitzed Aoki with sharp kicks and leg submissions. She caught Aoki with a jumping knee in the corner and dropped her with a spirited middle kick. However, Aoki powered through, catching Kotatsu and planting her with a backflip drop.

Kotatsu retaliated with a kick assisted by Syuri, followed by a sandwich kick combination from the duo. Yamashita charged in, using her power to shift the momentum, and delivered a sandwich kick of her own. Syuri nailed Yamashita with a knee strike. Aoki hit a German suplex on Syuri. Kotatsu blasted Aoki with a rolling savate kick. She went for a spinning kick, but Aoki caught her with an STO. Kotatsu managed to kick out, but Aoki immediately followed up with the Rasha Basami to claim the 3-count.

5. 20-Minute Time Limit Saori Anou, Hazuki & ○ Fuwa-chan (9m 29s, Pinfall) Lady C, HANAKO & Waka Tsukiyama ● ※ via Shining Wizard Hazuki & Fuwa-chan make their triumphant return. Fuwa-chan requests to participate in all regional tour dates.

This was Hazuki and Fuwa-chan’s first match back since returning from overseas. The six women engaged in a chaotic, fast-paced scramble, with HANAKO’s big boot and Tsukiyama’s knee attack strictly targeting Fuwa-chan. With Fuwa-chan in trouble, Hazuki rushed in, grabbed a leg, and dragged the opposition out of the ring. Anou laid a heavy strike into Tsukiyama, allowing Fuwa-chan to go on the offensive. Tsukiyama attempted the Gokuraku Don, but Fuwa-chan blocked it, hitting a brainbuster. She followed up with a second brainbuster and capped it off with a Shining Wizard for the win.

After the match, Fuwa-chan approached Tsukiyama. A frustrated Tsukiyama bit Fuwa-chan in response.

Hazuki: “Stardom, after about two months, I’m home! I went on an overseas excursion for a little over a month, and I was able to accomplish a lot of things I set out to do. I plan on making a lot of moves going forward. So everyone, please expect even more from Hazuki from now on.”

Fuwa-chan: “Hello! (Acting hyped up in English to show off her return) Just kidding, Hazuki-san. I’m sorry. Going overseas had a lot of fun and wonderful moments, but the truth is, it was just days of constantly crying. Being abroad was really difficult, and there were so many times I got depressed, wondering if I just don’t have a talent for pro wrestling. That’s what every day felt like. If you ask me if I actually grasped something over there… honestly, it’s pretty subtle. I still haven’t found a weapon outside of just being ‘Fuwa-chan.’ I came back feeling a bit unfulfilled, but I also discovered a lot, and I was supported by precious friends. I’m truly glad I went overseas, and I don’t want to let it end here. I really want to spread my wings even further, so I will continue to work hard under the totally trustworthy Hazuki-san. Everyone, please keep supporting me! Thank you.”

Hazuki: “Fuwa-chan got the win for us today, and coming up next, my partner Kogu has a title match. I need everyone to cheer so loud you lose your voices. You got it!? (Her voice cracks) Ah, that wasn’t great.”

Fuwa-chan: “It’s jet lag.”

Hazuki: “I need you to cheer for Kogu until your voices go hoarse, okay!? Please enjoy the second half of the show!”

▼ Backstage Hazuki: “Our first match since coming back to Japan. We won!” Anou: “Welcome back.” Fuwa-chan: “On a winning day like this, I really want to eat a hot dog.” Anou: “Oh man, is this what happens when you go overseas?” Hazuki: “I think Fuwa-chan went through a lot of different experiences. I went through a lot in just over a month too. We had a lot of frustrating moments, and yeah, we cried a bit (laughs). But through this excursion, I found several goals that I genuinely want to achieve. Moving forward, I hope I can achieve them without losing focus. I need to think carefully about what I can do and take action.”

Fuwa-chan: “Seeing Hazuki-san’s excursion up close, she really showed me what it means to be a master and a star. While I admired her and thought it was amazing how she shines, it also made me acutely aware of the massive gap between us. It was incredibly frustrating, and I… I was crying, wasn’t I? I was just so frustrated and full of regret, crying surrounded by the brick walls of New York. Going overseas really is a great opportunity to reevaluate yourself. I spent every day thinking about what kind of pro wrestler I want to become. But on the other hand, my current position is really complicated. Am I a rookie? It’s a complicated, awkward position that makes me hard to handle, and I’m self-aware of that. Because it’s complicated, I can’t go for Rookie of the Year. Because it’s complicated, I can’t challenge for the Future belt. But going to America made me realize there’s no point in holding back anymore, and that’s why I’m here today.”

Fuwa-chan (continuing): “I want a belt too, and I want to do this properly as a pro wrestler. The phase of ‘TV personality Fuwa-chan tries her hand at pro wrestling’ is over. I want to have real goals as a wrestler, so I’m going to aim for a belt. I want everyone to see that you can get swept up in the culture and still work your absolute hardest. You can eat hot dogs and still get stronger. From now on, Stardom’s regional tours… until now, I was acting like a big shot and barely participating, but I want to go to all of them… I will go. I’m going to all of them.”

Hazuki: “I have one question. You said you want to aim for a belt. Do you have a clear idea in your heart of which belt that is?” Fuwa-chan: “It’s decided in my heart.” Hazuki: “OK. Then, tell everyone when the time is right. I’ll look forward to hearing it.” Fuwa-chan: “I’m going! I’m going to all the shows! I want to eat lots of delicious food out in the provinces! Please take care of me!” Hazuki: “It’s not just a fun road trip, you know. It’s a pretty harsh world.” Fuwa-chan: “I know. I just got a little carried away. Let’s do this (laughs). I’ll work as hard as I can. I’ve made up my mind. Everyone, I look forward to working with you.”

Hazuki: “By the way, you’re acting cool, Anou-san, but you’re not actually that cool. What’s up? You’re grinning.” Anou: “Going overseas is amazing. The speed and everything is just different over there. I think it’s incredible. I haven’t been able to go at all, but listening to you two talk, it kinda makes me want to experience it too.” Fuwa-chan: “Saori-san, no way. You need to stay in Japan and work hard at practice.” Anou: “Of course I’ll do it in Japan, but… um, just let me try that one more time (Anou botched a double-team sequence during the match). Seriously, let me do it one more time.” Hazuki: “Revenge Wash?” Anou: “I’m so sorry.” Fuwa-chan: “Anou-san, you’re running laps starting from square one today.”

6. 20-Minute Time Limit Hanan & ○ Ranna Yagami (11m 38s, Pinfall) Ami Sourei & Akira Kurogane ● ※ via Beat Strike

This was a double preview for the 9/12 Yokohama show, setting the stage for the Wonder of Stardom Championship match (Hanan [c] vs. Sourei) and the Future of Stardom Championship match (Yagami [c] vs. Kurogane).

Hanan and Sourei started things off, feeling each other out. Once Yagami and Kurogane tagged in, Kurogane aggressively took the fight to the champion. Yagami turned the tide, forcing Kurogane onto the defensive. Kurogane fought back, unleashing a flurry of elbows on Hanan before hitting a bodyslam and tagging Sourei.

The mid-match featured a stiff, hard-hitting exchange between Hanan’s elbows and Sourei’s chops. Sourei pushed Hanan back, Hanan retaliated with a Fameasser, and Sourei answered with a brainbuster, resulting in a double down.

Yagami and Kurogane re-entered the fray. Yagami bombarded her with kicks, catching her in a Fujiwara armbar and a complex submission hold before Sourei broke it up. Kurogane let out a roar and unloaded a barrage of elbows, dropping Yagami. However, Yagami used a delayed rope-run into a Zero Fighter kick (Shiranui-style kick). Her triangle kick found its mark, but Sourei broke up the pin. Hanan and Yagami simultaneously struck Sourei and Kurogane, isolating Kurogane in the ring with Yagami. Kurogane hit a knee strike and a front neck chancery. She charged in, but ate two right high kicks and crumpled to the mat. Yagami finished her off with the Beat Strike.

Kurogane: “I’m the one who’s going to take the Future belt from Ranna Yagami.” Sourei: “The situation is just like it was for the Future belt. And the result will be exactly the same.”

After the match, Yagami took the microphone. Yagami: “Akira, how have you grown in the best ring in the world this summer? I lived stimulating days out in the world, and I’ve widened the gap between us even further. Do you understand what I meant in June when I said ‘Not now’? If you still don’t get it, you can’t beat me. You have one week left. How you realize it and change is entirely up to you. I’m looking forward to it.” Kurogane (shouting without a mic): “I’m the one who’s going to take the Future belt from Ranna Yagami! You better be ready!!”

Sourei (on mic): “The Future title picture is incredibly good right now. Hanan, the Future belt is nostalgic, isn’t it? We went at it back then too. We aren’t the same as we were during those Future title days. Let’s have an even greater, ultimate match with the Wonder belt on the line.” Hanan: “There won’t be a second time. I will absolutely not let Ami Sourei take a singles belt from me twice. That’s not just me setting things up. We’ve both gotten much bigger than when we fought over the Future belt. Let’s have a Wonder championship battle in the even bigger Yokohama Budokan.” The two locked eyes in a tense stare-down.

▼ Backstage Hanan: “Today was the first and last preview match against Ami Sourei, but ever since she took the Future belt from me, I’ve been fighting her with the mindset of a preview match anyway, so one match is plenty. She’s the opponent I wanted to fight the most with this belt on the line. This time, I will defend my singles belt against Ami Sourei.”

Yagami: “Korakuen Hall. Two consecutive wins since returning from America. Ranna Yagami is in peak condition. I said what I said on the microphone, but honestly, that was close. I definitely felt how much Akira has grown in the world’s best ring, but since I went on a learning excursion of my own, there’s no way I can afford to lose. I’m incredibly excited to see how hard Akira comes at me, so I think we’ll have a great Future title match at Yokohama Budokan. Please look forward to it, everyone.”

Sourei: “The first and last preview match for the White Belt. The result wasn’t great today, but the 5★STAR momentum is with me. I even received the Outstanding Performance Award today. I want to keep this momentum firmly on my side and wrap that White Belt around my waist. Like I said in the ring today, Hanan and I have been going at it since the Future title days, and even before that. I’m truly happy we get to do it again for the new White Belt. The situation is the same as the Future title. I intend to make the result the same as well.”

Kurogane: “Just one thing: I’m taking the Future belt from Yagami! That is all!!”

7. High Speed Championship Match (15-Minute Time Limit) △ Yuna Mizumori (Time Limit Draw) Koguma △ ※ The 28th Champion succeeds in her 5th title defense. Koguma: “It was a title match, but we were the semi-main. I was really frustrated.”

Mizumori demanded a handshake, declaring, “Tropical, please!” Koguma shook her hand, replying, “Nice to meet you, Kuma.” The match immediately opened with a rapid sequence of roll-ups. They separated; Mizumori struck a “Yahoo” pose, while Koguma hit a “Bear” pose. Koguma dodged a lock-up and did the bear pose again. Koguma tried to bait Mizumori into doing the bear pose, making it look like Mizumori would oblige, only for Mizumori to yell, “Like I’d do that!” and attack. However, Koguma rolled to the outside, leading Mizumori on a chase.

Back in the ring, Koguma rolled Mizumori up. Mizumori countered with a dial hold. Koguma trapped both of Mizumori’s arms. Koguma regained control on the mat, seemingly aiming for a forced bear pose, but Mizumori blocked it. Koguma hit a stunner. Trapping Mizumori in a Camel Clutch, Koguma declared, “I don’t care if it’s a title match. Everyone, ready? Forced bear pose!” She executed the move and asked, “Kumamon, give up?” Koguma then locked in a sleeper, but Mizumori managed to escape.

Koguma utilized her signature stomps near the ropes. She stepped on the bottom rope to execute a rare reverse splash. Koguma pressured her, shouting, “Do the bear!”—and Mizumori surprisingly complied immediately with a “Kuma”, confusing Koguma before rolling her up. When Koguma rolled outside, Mizumori followed her right out with a tope. She didn’t quite get the distance, but charged back in anyway. Diving shoulder tackle from the top rope. Guillotine drop. Mizumori charged, but Koguma pulled down the top rope, sending her to the apron. Mizumori grabbed the ropes and used her power to haul herself back in. Koguma then sent Mizumori to the outside and hit a plancha.

Mizumori caught Koguma on the top rope and aimed for an avalanche-style move, but Koguma resisted and locked in a sleeper on the turnbuckle. She followed up with a missile dropkick. Three minutes left. A roll-up battle ensued, followed by a sliding lariat from Mizumori. Koguma reversed the pin attempt. Sent into the ropes, Koguma hit a jumping big boot. Mizumori caught a charging Koguma and planted her with a Hurricane Driver. Two minutes left. Mizumori ran the ropes, but Koguma caught her in a small package. Mizumori dodged a charge and Koguma went for her 120% Schoolboy, but couldn’t lock it in. Koguma then hit a borrowed Super Girl. Mizumori attempted a borrowed 120% Schoolboy, getting a two-count. Koguma caught a charging Mizumori in a sleeper. Top rope. Both women dodged charges and ran the ropes. Mizumori hit a lariat. Koguma kicked out at one. Another lariat from Mizumori. Two-count. Mizumori hoisted Koguma up, but Koguma landed on her feet. Just as Koguma locked in the 120% Schoolboy, the time limit gong sounded. Mizumori, having successfully defended the title, wore a look that was equal parts happy and frustrated.

Koguma (In-Ring): “Yunamon. When Yunamon asked if I wanted to challenge for the High Speed title, honestly, I wondered if there was even a point. I didn’t really pay much attention to Yunamon. But after wrestling you today, I think… maybe it was a good thing. Honestly, I hadn’t watched many of Yunamon’s matches, but your recent humanity—your strength as a person working so hard for Kumamoto—really drew me in. As a fellow Kyushu native, I’m incredibly proud of you. Thank you. However, this is an issue for both of us, and especially for Yunamon: today, this was the only title match on the card, yet we were the semi-main event. I was really frustrated by that. I think it’s because I lacked something as a challenger, and you lacked something as a champion, that we were put in the semi-main. I need you, as the High Speed Champion, to overturn that. Please.”

Mizumori: “As the High Speed Champion, this result—a draw defense where I neither won nor lost—is incredibly frustrating. But regarding what you just said… everything Koguma-san said today was absolutely, completely correct, and it made me happy. I will absolutely overturn this.”

They shook hands.

Mizumori: “Koguma-san, this doesn’t end here, right? When Kumamoto is rebuilt, please have a title match with me in Kumamoto. And when that happens, we main event. I defended it today. I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that alongside this belt, I have to keep working hard alongside Kyushu, which is going through a tough time, and alongside Kumamoto. Keep watching me. I swear, both this belt and I will keep being Tropical! Yunamon loves Kumamoto. Koguma-san, can we do it together at the end? Ready, Kuma!”

▼ Backstage Koguma: “It’s been a while since I challenged for the High Speed belt. This time, it wasn’t just about the High Speed style; I was drawn to Yunamon’s character, and from there I suddenly got interested in her, and that became the bigger focus…”

Mizumori: “Koguma-san! You weren’t enthusiastic about this High Speed match. I could tell from your face during that decision match, but even so, I wanted to wrestle Koguma-san. Not in a regular singles match, not in the 5★STAR, but against the High Speed Genius Koguma-san with this belt on the line. I thought if I could overcome this wall, I’d become an even greater champion, and that’s why we wrestled today. But the result was a draw…”

Koguma: “Neither of us won or lost, but ultimately, I’m really glad we were able to have this match. Despite being busy before the doors opened in the regional venues, she was out there fundraising for Kumamoto. While everyone else was on summer vacation, she was doing amazing work back in her hometown. I was drawn to that side of her this time, and the match was incredibly fun, so I’m glad we did it. Winning the belt would have been the absolute best outcome, but this time, she gave me something really great on a human level. Ultimately, I feel like she gave me a lot. It was a fulfilling match.”

Mizumori: “I feel like I finally understood another piece of what it takes to be a champion today. Like I said in the ring, when Kumamoto is rebuilt, please let’s continue this in a High Speed Title main event.”

Koguma: “Next time I wrestle Yunamon for the High Speed belt, you better take me to the main event.”

Mizumori: “Until that time comes, I’ll prove that bears can rise up in the world… well, I haven’t proven it yet, since it was a draw. I’ll beat Koguma-san and prove it properly. Ready, Kuma! We’re gonna climb even higher!”

8. 30-Minute Time Limit ○ Suzu Suzuki, Miyu Amasaki & Starlight Kid (11m 30s, German Suplex Hold) Natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitani & Azusa Inaba ●

This was a preview for the 9/12 Yokohama show, building toward the World of Stardom Championship match (Suzuki [c] vs. Tora) and the Goddess of Stardom Championship match (AZM & Amasaki [c] vs. Kamitani & Momo Watanabe).

HATE ambushed their opponents before the bell even rang to start the match. Once back in the ring, Suzuki and Tora collided in a battle of power. Amasaki and SLK rushed in to help Suzuki, swarming Tora. Tora reversed the momentum with a crossbody and tagged in Kamitani.

Kamitani hit a springboard body attack. She blasted Amasaki with an elbow, screaming, “Is that all a Goddess Champion’s got?!” This sparked a heated elbow exchange. Amasaki removed her right elbow pad and unloaded a flurry of strikes. Kamitani answered with a dropkick. Amasaki countered with a facebuster. Kamitani fired back with a spin kick, a Northern Lights suplex, and a barrage of Fisherman’s suplexes. SLK stepped in to assist, allowing Amasaki to score a roll-up for a two-count.

Amasaki hit an exploder suplex, Kamitani landed a heel kick, resulting in a double down. Suzuki and Inaba tagged in. Inaba unleashed a flurry of offense and caught Suzuki in a kneebar. She kept the pressure on for a while, but Suzuki finally reached the ropes. Amasaki and SLK attacked Inaba. With covering fire from Tora and Kamitani, Inaba went for the finish. Her Lightning Spiral earned a two-count.

Suzuki dodged a big boot and hit the Tequila Shot, but Kamitani and Tora broke up the pin just in time. Both factions flooded the ring. Inaba aimed a big boot at Suzuki. Tora swung a lariat but accidentally hit Inaba. Tora then nailed Suzuki with a lariat, but Suzuki popped up and hit Tora with a German suplex. SLK wiped out Kamitani and Inaba with a plancha. Suzuki then locked in a German Suplex Hold on Inaba for the 3-count.

SLK to Suzuki: “You better absolutely defend that against Natsuko.” Kamitani to Amasaki: “You can’t even put your back into an elbow. How many years have you been doing this?”

After the match, Suzuki took the microphone. Suzuki: “Natsuko, today was our first and last preview match. Back then, you were staring at me with those pure, clear eyes like a little kitten in love, but I really didn’t feel much of that from you today. Is she really handing off the leadership of HATE to her juniors? She’s quite a nice person, isn’t she? Also, isn’t this weird? It’s weird, right? This is a slightly nostalgic lineup.
