The Bridge Between Miyako & Pro Wrestling

Everyone! Friday is finally here! (｀･ω･´)!!
So, what has MIRAI been up to this week? Sunday, September 13th was the fourth day of a four-day match stretch. And it was a day/night double-header! Even crazier, the night show was a two-out-of-three falls match!! It basically felt like I wrestled four matches in a single day!
During the day show, I got wrecked by the Brahman Brothers and ended up covered in water and powder. (ヽ´ω`) Sigh…
At night, Yumi kicked my face in.
It was seriously way too insane!! The moment my adrenaline wore off, I passed out cold. (:ェ」∠)
On Monday, September 14th, I just kept sleeping. I wonder how many hours I actually slept? (Laughs)
I eventually woke up, got ready, and headed straight to Miyako City!!
That night, I went to Shichirin Yakiniku Morimori with Tajimaan Hanare, the sponsor whose logo is on my entrance gown!!
I ate sooo much delicious meat. ( ˶ 𖥦 ˵ )

Then, starting from the morning of Tuesday, September 15th, I dedicated myself entirely to handing out flyers for the Miyako show! I did it alongside the young boys of Michinoku Pro Wrestling!! I’m just so incredibly thankful for them. ✨⁝(ᵒ̴̶̷᷄⌑ ᵒ̴̶̷᷅ )⁝
For lunch, we went to Janome in front of Miyako Station. The seafood was so amazing that we all just ate in complete silence!! (Laughs)
Wednesday, September 16th was our Michinoku Pro Wrestling meeting!! We all discussed this, that, and everything in between. A person’s character really peeks through in how they think and speak, and since MIRAI loves people-watching, I was having a blast all by myself! (Laughs) There isn’t much I can publicly share about the meeting’s contents, but MIRAI has officially joined the Merchandise Team, the Regional Contribution Team, and the SNS Team!! I don’t expect every single thing we discussed to succeed flawlessly, but I’ll be happy if even a little bit of it works out, and if we fail, we’ll just improve. I want to do my absolute best so that Michinoku Pro Wrestling can get even more hyped up and spread far and wide! That’s why I’m gonna do my best on this column, too!! ( -`ω-)✧ Also, this is a secret just for the people reading this column… Between the end of the young boys’ joint practice and the start of the meeting, I glanced over at the dojo and saw President Jinsei Shinzaki in the ring…!! Does this mean his return is getting close?! ヽ(´▽｀)/ (Sorry if I’m wrong!) He’s always so thick, and his muscles are incredible. It’s a level of greatness that honestly makes no sense. (Laughs)
On Thursday, September 17th, it was another promotional sales trip to Miyako with President Jinsei Shinzaki. And this time, even the Vice President joined us!? A certain project just might be getting set into motion…?!
Turning my attention back to the ring, out of nowhere, Michinoku Pro Wrestling senior Taro Nohashi suddenly started calling himself “MIRAI’s Master.” Um, what exactly does that mean…? ( ﾟД ﾟ)?? As for this “Self-Proclaimed Master Taro Nohashi”… I think I’ll write more deeply about him next time!! It was way too sudden and kind of scary, so I’m just gonna wait and see how things play out for now! (Laughs) Ah! But apparently, for the November 1st Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium show (a Michinoku Pro Wrestling big match!), self-proclaimed master Taro Nohashi is bringing in a “Super Big Name X.” And MIRAI is supposedly having a singles match against them… Is Taro Nohashi telling the truth? Or is it a lie? Even judging by President Jinsei Shinzaki’s reaction, it seemed like it was the first time he’d heard about it, too?? …I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this situation!!!
Now, onto the main topic.
The “September 22nd Miyako Show” is almost here!
To everyone coming to watch, do you have your tickets?
To everyone traveling from afar, is your transportation sorted out? Have you finalized your arrangements? Please double-check!!
And please make sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
After all, Miyako City is pretty far away! ( ー̀֊ー́ )⟡
But I have total confidence that once you visit, it will become a place you absolutely love!!
The food is delicious, everyone is so nice, the nature is beautiful, and the air is fresh!!

My match will be a GHC Women’s Championship match. The challenger is Nagisa Nozaki. …Believe it or not, since first winning the title on June 15th, this is my very first defense!!! I’m sure you’re all thinking, “That’s quite a long gap between matches, isn’t it?” I’m sorry about that.
The day after I was crowned the GHC Women’s Champion, I was pinned cleanly for a 3-count by Nagisa Nozaki in a SEAdLINNNG tag team match. I was so furious with myself for losing while laid out flat on my back as the GHC Champion. Like, “What the hell are you losing for…?” Nagisa Nozaki grabbed the belt and posed with it. My body couldn’t move from the damage, but my heart was burning. I can’t just take a loss lying down. I will absolutely get my revenge…!
From there, I went to negotiate directly with the promotion. When I decide to do something, I do it. I absolutely do it!! Since it’s my long-awaited first defense, if I’m going to do it, I want to do it in Iwate, at the Miyako show. Nagisa Nozaki readily accepted the offer from the promotion. And just like that, my first GHC title defense was officially set.
Inside MIRAI’s heart, I was screaming, “YESSSSSS!!”
My first defense. A hometown Miyako show. A Michinoku Pro Wrestling show. Revenge against an opponent I lost to.
With all these conditions stacked up where I don’t want to lose and absolutely cannot lose, fighting an opponent who is far too strong naturally brings pressure and anxiety. This year marks Nagisa Nozaki’s 20th anniversary since her debut. With her anniversary show coming up, I have this lingering fear: Is she going to ride this momentum and take my belt, too? Even so, I will fight. When I decide to do something, I do it. What overcomes this anxiety and fear is the sheer momentum of “I’m going to do it!!” and “I’m going to win!!”, alongside the techniques I’ve learned bit by bit through Michinoku Pro Wrestling training, and the confidence I’ve built from fighting against men.
I’ve had water dumped on me, and I’ve been covered in powder. I’ve taken the impact of a 140kg splash, and I’ve eaten elbows that felt like they were going to break my jaw, but I’ve never run away—I’ve kept fighting. Believing in myself that I can absolutely defend this title, I will fight! Nagisa Nozaki is someone I’ve had a lot of connections with since my time in my previous promotion. I am ab-so-lute-ly not going to lose to you!!! Everyone, please fight alongside me with your support!! I’m counting on you!!!
